Welcome to the COS Graduate Slack!

The Department of Computer Science introduces a Slack-based community for graduate students.

    Join Slack using Princeton NetID

What is the Princeton COS Graduate Slack?

It's an online community, which contains all the currently active graduate students of Princeton University's Department of Computer Science.

To make it convenient, and help our graduate students connect with one another, all the information from our directory (name, photo, adviser, research area or interests) has been loaded into the Slack profiles. Every cohort year has its own private channel.

The Princeton COS Graduate Slack is also integrated with other Slack workspaces connected with the department, to facilitate cross-role communication.

How can I join? What credentials do I use?

Your account is automatically provisioned through our official internal rosters. If you are a registered graduate student with Princeton University's Department of Computer Science, you should be able to join the Slack by clicking here or the button above.

You will be logged through the Central Authentication System (CAS), and the credentials you will use are your official Princeton NetID and password. You can read more about CAS here.

I am using my Princeton NetID to log in, but my account does not work

If after entering your Princeton NetID and password in the Central Authentication System, you are denied access into the Slack, please reach out to Louis Riehl and Jérémie Lumbroso.
